PUSD – Holy Bloody Hell – WHAT IS GOING ON?

Holy bloody hell!

The school board recently approved a 2025-2026 contract worth $605,250.00 between PUSD and Pine Health for 2 positions:

  • School Psychologist
  • Board Certified Behavior Analyst

Questions:

  • Is there a major mental health crisis amongst PUSD students to warrant spending this amount?
  • How many PUSD students require a Board Certified Bahavior Analyst?
  • Are these health professionals on-call 24/7 under this contract amount?
  • Is someone in the district receiving a “kick-back” from Pine Health?
  • Will the district embarrass itself with the same welcome given in Nov 2024 to then newly arrived Board Certified Behavior Analyst (Ebony Walker)?
