This is not why we moved to Piedmont

Wow — I just found this blog, and it hits so close to home.

We moved here for the schools and sense of community, but what’s really going on? Courts at Linda Beach redone at huge cost — now locked up for weeks, just sitting there. Our tax dollars literally behind a fence.

Then there’s the pool, years late and burning through millions, while other towns got theirs done with none of this drama.

And when people ask fair questions? The Council just shuts everyone down, votes unanimously to keep spending, and acts like we should be quiet and trust them. That’s not leadership — that’s arrogance.

Now home values are slipping and the shine we moved here for is fading. It feels like they’re spending first, silencing questions later.

We all deserve better than this. And it shouldn’t take a blog post to say it out loud.
