SB 9: City Council failed to protect us

On September 10, 2021, 241 charter cities signed a letter to Gavin Gruesome requesting a veto of SB 9 (Atkins).  Why was Piedmont not one of those cities on the list? I see a few nearby cities on the list: Antioch, Concord, Burlingame, Foster City, Larkspur, Moraga, Orinda. Again, why did Piedmont not sign this letter?

This does not make sense why Piedmont did not follow the lead of Redondo Beach, Carson, Torrance, Whittier, and Del Mar in filing a lawsuit — invoking the home rule doctrine in the State Constitution in challenging SB 9. Complete failure of Piedmont to act.

Since Piedmont is a hot bed for visiting Democrats seeking large political contributions, was the city council instructed by major Piedmont Democratic members to stand down and let Gruesome have his way? Maybe I should buy the house next to the house on Sea View that always hosts Democratic fundraisers and put up two separate 50 unit apartment buildings, with one apartment building specifically for half way housing.

Our city council members are COMPLETE FAILURES in protecting our beautiful city.  Thanks for nothing!
